Terms and Conditions

  1. Terms and Conditions below do not affect your statutory rights.
  2. All items are available while our and manufacture’s stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
  3. Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices include VAT at the UK Rate applicable at the time of dispatch.
  4. Postage is charged at the current rates for the UK and EU countries. Postage/Insurance to non EU countries is charged at cost.
  5. Payment is accepted by Cheque (in Sterling, drawn on a UK bank), Credit/Debit Cards, Postal Orders (in Sterling, drawn on a UK Post Office).
  6. Any refunds will be applied in Sterling to the Credit/Debit Card used to make the original purchase except where purchase was made by cheque, postal order when a cheque will be issued in sterling.
  7. Some models are not recommended for children under 14 years of age and attention must be paid to the safety instructions accompanying any product. Attention must be paid to the safety instructions accompanying glue, paints, special types of adhesive and modelling tools.
  8. All new items which include a mains plug or connector will be supplied with a UK 3 pin plug. Clients outside the UK are responsible for ensuring their local electricity supply and sockets are compatible with their purchase. The UK power supply is 240 volts AC. We are unable to accept the return of items due to incompatible power supplies, plugs or if the model/unit has been modified or damaged, in any manor for UK or overseas use.
  9. Descriptions are based upon those provided by the manufacturer.
  10. Pictures shown on our website are illustrative only. They are often provided by the manufacturers and are of typical packaging quality, in some cases they are digital photographs of actual models taken by Mind The Gap. If you are not sure as to what is included with a product, telephone us.
  11. If any of your purchases are damaged upon receipt, please contact us immediately (with in 24 hours of receipt) and if you wish to return the item to us please advise us of the details and our order number. When posting items back to us please obtain a Postal Receipt as your proof that the item has been returned (essential for you to follow up with the Post Office if any loss or damage occurs in transit) and ensure that your packaging is sufficiently robust Postal handling. We cannot be held responsible for items being lost or further damaged in the return transit.
  12. Will we refund the postage costs of returning an item to us, which you have advised us of in the manner as detailed in section 11 above.
  13. Orders may be amended or cancelled at any time providing despatch has not been made. Should this be necessary please Telephone 01803 520010 between 0900-1230 1330-1700 Tuesday to Saturday. Amendments are not accepted email.
  14. Your rights to return goods are protected under the Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
  15. Items must be returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged ( care should be taken when opening manufactures new packaging to ensure no damage is done removing the packaging) and are in a resalable condition, this means that you should do no more than examine the item as you would in a shop prior to purchase.

  16. All personal details and/or credit card details required for order completion will not be kept after dispatch of the item. Mind The Gap do not disclose information to third parties.
